Age Concern activities at The Borrow Centre Cowplain are organised by a team of friendly and dedicated volunteers.

If you would like to become part of this team there are many opportunities available, whatever your skills or knowledge, at hours to suit you

Just a few hours a week can make a huge difference.

For example:

Cooks
Lunch Time Helpers
Befrienders
Geneology

Please note All volunteers for be-friending positions are subject to interview, two referees and a Disclosure & Barring Service check (previously known as CRB check). DBS will be organised & paid for by Age Concern Cowplain. All other volunteers are subject to an informal chat/interview, two references and a DBS check

Or you may like to start your own group and share your interests in Art, Chess, Line dancing or Local History perhaps, or you “just want to help” without any specific idea in mind?
