Chatty Crafters meet up at Age Concern in Cowplain on Mondays and Friday at 1:00pm-3:00pm.

We are a non-profit group. We also make items to give to charities. We have sent knitted and crochted blanket squares, gloves, hats, blankets, shawls, knitted and crocheted toys to a charity which delivers aid to Ukraine.

This group started here on Mondays in June 2023 with just 6 of us. On average there are 10 of us on a Monday. Friday is a new venture which is slowly building in numbers. At the moment on average there are 6 of us on a Friday.

We bring along with us any crafts that we can do whilst sitting together. Sometimes we do more chatting than crafting! We help each other with our crafts if needed, and generally support each other. We share general interests and chat about everything and anythign.

We are permitted to have a table at Christmas to sell our crafts, and make a donation to Age Concern out of the proceeds. This year we are having an Easter craft table for the first time.
